Available IDXdm Driver Modules
A multitude of IDXdm modules have been developed and are supported by IDXOnline. Below are just a few:
  

SCADA Interfaces
	IDX is a Wonderware Suitelink IO Server. Any IDX Server may be configured as a Suitelink IO Server that enables communication to all IDX supported devices by FactorySuite applications such as InTouch and Industrial SQL Server. The IDX InTouch 6.0 Harness provides bi-directional information flow between as IDX and Wonderware's NT version of InTouch MMI (from v5.6) via the IDEA SDK API.
	Adroit Technologies ADROIT™ driver module. This driver module enables read/write access to the Adroit SCADA package via OLE automation.
	Rockwell Software RSLINX driver module. This module communicates with Allen Bradley PLC networks via RSLINX. DDE Server Bridge. This module adds DDE/NetDDE client capabilities to IDX. Any DDE Server may be used to acquire data into any IDX node.
	All OPC 1.0/2.0 compliant SCADA packages. As an OPC compliant Server application IDX is easily integrated with any modern SCADA system that has OPC support.
Expert Systems
	Direct bridge to Gensym G2 via TCP/IP based on Gensym’s GSI toolkit. High performance support for DCS/PLC/SCADA, networking, databases, and customised support all within a single bridge package.
	ODBC, OLE-DB, ADO compliant database support. All databases that adhere to the above standards are supported. IDX is an ODE-DB Provider and all database access is handled via ADO.

ERP Systems
	SAP R/3 BAPI/RFC Interface. IDX supports direct BAPI/RFC communications with SAP R/3 in conjunction with a set of tables and stored procedures that are typically hosted Microsoft's SQL database. PI-PCS and other manufacturing/production planning related interfaces are supported.
PLC's
Most PLC’s (e.g. Siemens H1, Modicon, Allen-Bradley etc) via custom and 3rd Party Active X Controls.
Supporting Utilities
In addition to the above, a number of utility modules have been developed to support the IDX infrastructure. These may be integrated with standard office applications such as Microsoft Excel to provide customer specific configuration and run-time management environments.
