  • PROFIBUS Technical Assistant

IDXOnline operates the Southern African PROFIBUS Competence Centre which provides training and technical services to Southern African PROFIBUS users. We are looking for a competent technical assistant that will provide assistance is delivering training and other related services. Candidates must have completed Tertiary level technical education (such as former Technikon T-levels) and experience in the field of industrial automation/communications will be highly beneficial, especially in PROFIBUS systems, although not required. Candidates should demonstrate self-sufficiency, desire to learn and strong self-motivation. Primary scope of work includes providing assistance to trainer and trainees during local and onsite training as well as assistance in onsite services such as fault finding, and network audits. Future growth opportunities depend on the candidate's strengths but include taking charge of training and onsite services as well as involvement in other IDXOnline activities.

 

  • .NET Developers/Designers/Engineers

IDXOnline has developed a number of innovative niche software products that we wish to grow and expand. IDXOnline is also involved in a number of custom software development projects. We require graduate or experienced software developers (.NET experience is preferred but not required) that wish to work in a small development team and have meaningful input in the direction/development of particularly two exciting products, IDX and UNIFIG. We also have an exciting project involving embedded systems development/maintenance. Candidates must be flexible in their roles and be willing to have a fairly wide scope of work as demand dictates. There are opportunities to work in IDXOnline's other operational areas, depending on the candidates strengths.

 

  • Electrical/IT Engineers (BSc Elec Eng) and Computer Scientists (BSc Comp Sci)
